Hey, let's go to TeleMiracle!

Published on 9 December 2025 at 21:33

For as long as almost anyone around these parts can remember, once a year, we all take a few minutes, sit down in front of the TV and scream some weird stuff about phones at it. This utterly bizarre ritual is called Telemiracle, an all-nighter telethon by the good Kin around these parts. The fundraiser raises millions every year for special needs equipment, helping people maintain or improve their mobility and quality of life, as well as funding medical travel expenses.
It's quite the tradition, I really recommend you try it. In fact. ..

I suggest you try it this year.

Why?

Well, is helping people have a better day not good enough?

How about it's the 50th Telemiracle? That's pretty impressive.

Oh, and... Jeremy and his Kazoo are playing this year.

Yeah.

So - I'll get to a fundraising pitch here. But let me get to something else first.

And that's why you should actually tune in to TeleMiracle this year. Because the talent - as you can tell - is second to none. With 68 performers from literally all corners of Saskatchewan, there really is something for everyone. And it's homegrown. C'mon, you owe it to yourself to get more in touch with the talent around these parts!

And you'll be so impressed that you'll give a few bucks to help others out. It's a pretty magical feeling.

Plus, yelling "Ring those phones" is matched only by the yells of watching that final touchdown in the Western Final to see the Riders off to win the Grey Cup. People in Saskatchewan are sure to like yelling. Suppose it's all the.. space.

More details to come. Clearly, I'm excited, and it's going to be a pretty amazing experience.

I've decided to try and raise $5000 for this thing. I think it's possible if I really put the time in, right? Will you help?
Well, at least check out my fundraiser page - maybe I can talk you into this yet.
